A HUGE Thank You!

After the past year of preparation and promotion, we wanted to especially recognize each of our sponsors and donors who have made our trip to Tanzania possible! We are so grateful for your generosity and willingness to help us to help these people in great need. We are extremely honored to be spending the summer in service. It is truly humbling to see how many people are instantly willing to step up and give. We have now raised over $10,000 that will get us to Tanzania and ultimately go towards our Toilet-Building efforts. THANK YOU once more to our incredible sponsors! Have you considered what life would be life if you didn't have an accessible toilet? This promotional video by the Bill Gates Foundation does a great job emphasizing this huge problem so many are currently facing and has some great ideas for making a change. It also goes along perfectly with our project plans in Tanzania. Take a second to watch this creative little clip and think about how you can help the situation! 

Money, shots, and pills- Be Prepared!

Gotta love Medicine!!! After our last Live Typhoid immunization pill, a few more shots, and $300 later, I think we might be just about ready to take on Africa. Better to be safe than sorry right? And don't forget the 95 page instruction manual- if anything hopefully that will keep us alive! We have been notified that we will be living in Arusha, Tanzania- house seeking to be continued upon arrival of our country directors. It's just about time to finish up finals and pack our bags! p.s. Looks like we will be touring London during the kick off of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games!
